프로그램 좀 공짜로 구해보려고 했다가, 가짜 바이러스 정보를 알려주고 치료프로그램을 다운받으라고 하는 windefender 2009에 걸렸다. 이런 것을 Desktop Hijack Malware라고 하나 보다.

증상: 감염되었다는 가짜 메시지가 IE에 뜨고 Windefender 2009를 다운받으라는 메시지가 나온다.
그 후에 새창으로 IE를 열면 중간에 가로채서 다른 곳으로 연결시키거나 빈 창이 뜨게 만든다.
그리고 바탕화면에 몇가지 아이콘을 만드는데 이건 그냥 지워버리면 된다. 바탕화면에 생기는 것과 같은 사이트들이 즐겨찾기에 추가된다.

해결방법

1. 위의 링크에서 프로그램을 다운받는다
2. 안전모드 + DOS prompt 로 부팅을 한다. 재부팅할때 F8을 누르고 선택하면 된다
3. 프로그램이 있는 위치로 가서 SmitFraudFix를 타이핑
4. 다음과 같은 화면에서 2번을 선택하면 된다

5. 치료가 되고 나면 레지스트리를 클린하라는 메시지가 나온다. 이것도 해주면 끝(재부팅된다)

제목 그대로 하루에 하나씩 소프트웨어(유틸리티, 게임 등)를 공짜로 나눠주는 사이트이다. 24시간 동안 하나의 소프트웨어가 무료로 제공되는 것으로 보인다. 남은 시간도 표시된다.

오늘의 소프트웨어는 PDF to Word인데, 사용해 보니 테이블이나 그림 등은 변환이 잘 되지만 한글은 깨지는 문제가 발생한다.

오픈소스 survey 프로그램

업무 특성상 설문조사에 관심이 많다. 다음은 Leading open source survey tool이라고 주장하는 LimeSurvey (formerly PHPSurveyor)이다.

예전에 제로보드로 간단한 BBS를 구축했을 때 여러가지 에디터를 시험해 봤었는데, 쓸만했던 무료 에디터로는 FCK editor, 미니위니 에디터, MCE Editor 등이 있었다. 혹시나 다음에 또 쓸일이 생길까봐 기록.

당시에 바빠서였는지 어떤 이유에서였는지 설치해서 쓰진 않았지만, 미니위니 에디터가 가장 파워풀한 기능을 제공했었다. 들여쓰기와 한줄만 enter키 먹는 것 등이 됐었던 것으로 기억한다.

대부분의 에디터들의 고질적 문제인 특정라인만 들여쓰기하는 것과 두줄씩 LF를 먹이는 것은 발생하지만 다른 기능들이 뛰어나다. 아마 해결방법이 있으리라...

온라인 문서계의 냅스터들

최근 자주 이용하게 된 온라인 프리젠테이션 사이트들

www.scribd.com
doc, ppt, xls, pdf, txt 등의 문서를 올리고 다운로드 받을 수 있으며 flash로 변환되어 웹상에서 프리젠테이션된다. xls의 경우에는 필요한 페이지만 보이는 것이 아니라 불필요한 페이지까지 보이는 경우가 많다. 파일 내부의 단어가 모두 검색되는데 검색결과중 재검색이 안 되기 때문에 검색하려면 시간상의 노력을 들여야 한다. 특징적인 것은 e-book이 많이 있다는 것이다. 다른 사이트에서도 이용이 가능하도록 embed link를 제공한다.

좀 더 다이내믹한 UI를 제공하고 화려하다. 한글도 잘 보이며 업로드된다. 문서를 올리고 공유하는 목적으로도 쓸만하지만 사진이나 잡지 등에 더 적합하다고 할 수 있다

기능은 scribd와 거의 같지만 로딩이 느리게 느껴진다. 느리다는 단점을 제외하면 충실한 내용들과 화면 오른쪽에 나오는 Related Presentation 등의 연관 검색이 매우 뛰어난 면도 있다. 로그인에 약간 문제가 있다. 관심주제에 대해서 메일로 새로운 문서가 등록된 것을 알려준다.

비교적 속도가 빠르다. 깔끔하고 직관적인 UI가 편리하다. 가끔 다운로드를 못하게 해놓은 슬라이드들이 있고, 주로 ppt 문서가 많다.
